Bulk T-Shirt Printing Toronto — What Costs What in 2026

"How much for 50 custom t-shirts?" is the most-asked question we get. The honest answer is "it depends" — so here's a transparent breakdown of the five things that actually determine your final price, with rough numbers for Toronto orders in 2026.

1. The blank garment

Toronto Custom T-Shirts stocks over 128 wholesale blank styles. The garment itself ranges from ~$7.50 (Gildan 5000 heavyweight cotton tee, our most popular) to ~$30 (Bella + Canvas premium tri-blend or a heavyweight hoodie). Roughly:

• Basic cotton tee — $7-12
• Premium ringspun cotton tee (Bella+Canvas 3001) — $14-18
• Pullover hoodie — $25-45
• Embroidered polo — $20-35

2. Print fees

Our customizer charges a flat $22 print fee on the front, plus $5 per extra side (back, sleeve). This is location-based, not colour-based — print as many colours as you want for the same fee on DTF. Screen printing adds setup fees per colour for very large runs only.

3. Quantity discounts

Volume pricing kicks in at 25 pieces:

• 1-24 pieces — full price
• 25-49 — 10% off
• 50-99 — 15% off
• 100+ — 20% off
• 500+ — custom quote (very competitive)

4. Embroidery vs print

Embroidery costs more (~$8-15 per logo location depending on stitch count) but lasts almost forever and looks premium. We use it most often for caps, polos, and corporate uniforms.

5. Rush fees

Standard turnaround is 5-7 business days, included. Need it in 48h? That's a flat 25% rush surcharge. Need it tomorrow? Call us — sometimes possible for small DTF orders.

A real example

50 Gildan 5000 tees, full-colour print on front + simple back logo, picked up at our Mississauga studio:

• 50 × $7.52 (blank) = $376
• 50 × ($22 + $5) print = $1350
• Subtotal $1726
• Less 15% bulk discount = ~$1467 ($29.34/shirt all-in)
